Topic: Bears trade for Cutler

Ok, so I'm trying to figure out if this is a good thing or not.
The price seems pretty steep for someone who hasn't REALLY done anything yet.
2 first round draft picks, 1 third round pick and Kyle Orton.

Poor offensive line, nobody to throw the ball to...yeah, he outta fit in nicely.

Opinions?? Is this guy going to make a difference?

They say Bronco's fans are going to be mad about this

I don't care... he didn't do much for us. He probably won't do anything anywhere else.

Very good trade for the Bears...they will love him in Chi town....he's just coming into his own, that bonehead coach in Denver will be toast within 2 years....mark my words!

Re: Bears trade for Cutler

Hmm, I live here in the Denver area (we're hockey fans mainly...I know, let's not even TALK about the Avalanche eh??) and I hope Cutler works out for you Bears fans....

I think he MAY turn into something great eventually...he's got the arm, just question his maturity level and his ability to really be a team leader!!

He's not much of a talker, that's for sure...which doesn't go over well here!!  And they just heckled the guy for his "Ringo" haircut!!:D

Re: Bears trade for Cutler

Thank God he had a problem with the way Eric Mangini handled Favre in NY last season or as ESPN reported he would have gone to Cleveland for Brady Quinn. Cutler was known as a whiner and didn't get along with a lot of his team mates in Denver prior to his stand off with the Broncos and the trade. Hope the Bears know how to stroke his ego properly.
