Hi there everyone, thanks so much for all the kind words about my playing. its especialy meaningfull coming from joe bonamassa fans, the guy has been a big influence on me and im sure i share a whole load of influences with him. if any of you guys want to see some more of what i do i reguarly post on youtube, i think i have had a great boost of people finding me through this site which makes me very happy.

For the record, I think criticism and negativity often serve to breed more of the same.  You can call it sensitivity or even naiveté....... I just think we could all stand to be a bit more kind to one another.....new members and old.  I'm also keenly aware that some people have enormously painful and difficult things on their plates in their real lives and I don't like to see them getting piled on here too.  I'm tired of seeing people, good people, get up and go, and never return because of it all.......no one ever left the Forum because they were too happy here, or treated too well..... and, while I agree that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, it's the discord, or harsh and insensitive comments that often drive people away.  That's my opinion, and I guess I'm entitled to it.  I prefer things to be more harmonious here...... that's all.

Welcome Sammy.  SO glad you came.  I'm excited about your talent, your appreciation of Joe, your friendliness, and your graciousness.  I hope we hear a lot more from you ...... out there, and in here too.  Hope you stick around. 

I just wanted to suggest that you also go to the Introductions section and open a thread there too, as not everyone will see this one, and you'll have a better opportunity to be welcomed by even more members there......or not...... whatever you'd like to do.......  wink
