Topic: Jack Blackman

A friend of mine doing some work for an online community radio station just emailed me recommending this young guitarist, Jack Blackman. This guys been involved with A LOT of serious musicians over the years and he's happy to stick his neck out for this young lad and according to the young Mr Blackman's website, so are a number of names such as Paul Jones and Dave Kelly.

So, having had a quick snoop around his website (www.jackblackman.com) and myspace, I'm happy to join the neck stretching party and say this kid has really got something going and will appeal to everyone here. For those of you who may be interested in listening in on his live radio session tomorrow morning (1000 hrs GMT):

... tune into NCCR Unsigned on Saturday from 10am on www.northcotswoldonline.com and listen to a live session by 14 year old blues guitarist Jack Blackman.

OK, I think he's now 15 but he still sounds good to me:D

Just happened on this message , and thanks very much. I'm Jack's dad and very proud of his achievements so far!
Just for information he has lots of dates coming up...have a look at his website www.jackblackman.com or my space  www.myspace.com/jackblackmantheguitarist

He has some big festival dates also coming up this summer including the Acoustic Festival of Britain in May- that one is at Catton Hall Nr Lichfield,  and the Great british R&B Festival at Colne, Lancs in August.

Also hoping to be back at Upton this year , if it goes ahead
