Topic: Knowing

I was reminded by the movie appreciation thread that I'd seen a couple movies recently and I felt compelled to comment on a film I saw recently called Knowing staring Nicholas Cage.

It.

was.

horrible.

Frankly I like Nicholas Cage, but watching this film gave light to why my dad says he can't take Nicholas Cage seriously. There were so many God-awful cheesy one-liners that just make you want to throw up. I'm gonna give away the end of the movie because if you haven't seen this movie, don't. It's got an alien ending. It's like the writers backed themselves into a corner with this cool catastrophe-related story line and then pulled a fast one on us and decided to bring aliens into the picture. Very reminiscent of the new Indiana Jones, which I wasn't a fan of either...

I thought the trailers looked pretty bad so I skipped out on the chance to see it today. Looks like it was a good idea.

That indiana jones... horrible. I wasted my time and money on that one.
