Excellent. Thanks. Love that guitar. The only thing I didn't like was how his guitar was sloppily strung.

Yeah. I agree.
Super playing like this deserves a better strung guitar !!
Wow...that was killer. I can hear a lot of Satriani and Hoey, and a lil' bit of lil' Stevie Vai....incredible playing over such a simple but emotional chord progression...gotta love it.
Keep on rockin' the blues...

Hallo,
I saw him live in I think 1995 in Holland. He was in the band of super-drummer Simon Phillips. He's the best drummer I know. Saw him perform with Jeff Beck, Frank Zappa, Roxy Music and his own band. I think this Tube song is in his band, not Andy Timmons own. I bought the CD Ear X- Tacy just after the show. On this Tube song simon plays the drums also I believe. This song Cry for you is the 4th song of the album Ear X-tacy. Maybe a concert from that period?
Andy is a great guitarplayer, but in the concert I have seen it was more jazz-rock than blues or bluesrock what I like more.
Andre Wittebroek.
I have Ear X-tacy too...great record. His tribute to SRV, I remember Stevie is an outstanding piece. Also really like Electric Gypsy as well.
This is cool too

Always thought Andy would be ideal for G3!!!
How about B3 people, Joe with ? and ?
(for me the ? equal Aynsley Lister and Gary Moore, that would be friggin awesome)
Aynsley Lister? You're sh*tting me.
Aynsley Lister? You're sh*tting me.
Nope
I've seen Lister. He's not even worthy to carry Joe's guitar. One guy on this forum, a holy joe - can't remember his name - he can play better than Lister.

I like him respectful take on any classic he covers, not overly ROCK but does have a pleasant enough voice and proved to me on the Blues caravan thing that he can jam up a storm too.. Who would you suggest for your Dream B3 with Joe of course being numero uno and a shoe in????
Eric Clapton definately. Gary Moore is a possibility.

I don't really know about Eric Clapton- don't get me wrong, he's a great guitar player- one of my favs and one of the best ever, but I think he might be a little too mellow now to play with Joe... now if we were talking Cream-era Clapton... let the party begin!
Just my $.02...

Hey Stu, that clip is from an Ibanez anniv. jam with Paul Gilbert and Steve Vai. The show only runs about 40 minutes and is a bit on the jazzy side but outstanding guitar work. I have the show as a vcd if anybody wants a copy, e mail me.

Hey Stu, don't know if you have it, but that clip of Andy is from the 'Official Live Bootleg' DVD '91-'98,' which is excellent. Great quality, although it only contains 7 songs (8 if you count a b&w "reprise" of the"Cry For You" overdub session) Still, what's on there smokes. Great guitar work, very tight band. If anyone's interested you can get it at Andy's web site, where you can get a signed copy :
