He switches the Bogner out with the Cat 5. He still uses the Marshall Jub as his base sound.

Thanks Ken, I meant the Cat5, just it (Marshall) was physically on top not the bottom right... Glad to see you are on top again-missed you sad

Nice stories George.
You already told me about it over the phone, love the pics.
You got some more?????

Another coinkydink - just spent ages sorting and uploading pics and what do I see when I open the topic? Jane's been busy too. big_smile

I have a big folder with pics from several different cameras, including Eva's and Gunter's. They both have some great pics (including Eva's from the stage) that they should select themselves, so as far as humanly possible I've avoided their pics. I have also deliberately restricted my selection to 'buddies' and a couple of general shots as none of my own shots of Joe compare to those already posted.

(Don't know how they did it, but Jack, Ben and Eric appear in more group shots than anyone else.) wink

i loved how Joe moved around alot and played in the lawn. I was worried though because these humongous bees we call cicada killers were flying around him a few times but luckily they didn't get him

Lovely pictures Jane! The You & Me one,  it was the earthquake from us & the heavy equipment used up in the quarry at that moment! I love the reflection off your glasses and you can at least see my hair a bit!  I am too fast to photo sometimes, missing from the group of Eva, Libby, George, Jeff, & Derek cuz I was off somewhere even if I was standing still.
Have never had a standing next to Joe picture turn out (tried bunches in the early days and never turned out, weird,) so I gave up.

They ARE a couple!  A VERY lovely couple I need to add! They are off to Sea World today without me as I go back to work and then they are off to L.A. this evening, looking for PT Cruisers on the way tongue , meeting Joe too!  Wunderbar!!!

George those coinky dinks never stop I tell you.  After talking to Derek at HAB and then seeing him with the Allman Brothers Band last Tuesday, I also happened to meet up with Derek's little sister watching over Susan & Derek's 2 little ones (I wanna go get some face painting-awww!).  To top that off, Derek's little sister's name? Lindsay! Wow!  Then, I was commenting to friends in New York I was a little upset I was missing Devon Allman and Honeytribe in San Diego (after I had promised them I would see them again next time) the next night due to flying back Thursday....So, I get to SD and Libby & Steve hooked me, Gunter & Eva up with their show in San Juan Capistrano's Coach House on Sunday!  Nice!
FANtastic photos, George.  I could submit your photos in our Supreme Court as indisputable evidence that...

George - thanks for posting the pictures.  They brought a big smile to my face.  big_smile  Just makes me anxious to find out when the next meeting of the Bonamasses will take place.  Too bad there wasn't a big private island in the middle of the Atlantic (sort of meet in the middle) where we could all get together (sorry folks on the west coast).  Now that would be fun!

I can't help but say that is wrong on many levels..I know Richard robbed the cradle :-)

The laptop for work makes viewing the pics easy and I'm really enjoying them. They should all have a wavy glaze to reflect the heat!! Thanks to all for sharing!!

I was a little upset over the week-end. I talked with aquaintances who are part of the organization..they said it was a shame Joe didn't bother to come out and sign autographs. I hope nobody starts the whole "Joe Diva" thing. I told them Joe is VERY fan friendly..check out the forum..he's the first to post if a show is cancelled (RARE) or there's a problem with a show.
I also explained that the jam with Derek was planned spur of the moment, precluding his coming out before Derek began. Then, after the jam, and before Derek was finished, Joe & Co were ushered onto their bus and out of the park. Carmine called BJJ and told him. I know they wanted to "visit" after the show. SO..If you are one of those that felt slighted, it was a rare fluke.. After a "normal" show, give him time to change his shirt and get a cool drink. Joe will win you over and you'll know, like we do, that he's genuine.

The same thing happened to me in London Jane.  When I met Bill S. and Jamie, I figured Bill to be a cradle robber. I didn't find out til afterward that Jamie was his daughter! And I do read some (but not nearly all) of the posts!

BTW great pics! You too George!

really enjoyed them.
You all must have lots of fun outthere.

Re: Joe, Derek Trucks, Old Man Brown at Hot August Blues in Md. !!!

Yes Cathy, It's more difficult to meet and greet when one is NOT the headliner.  Professional Courtesy is rare enough.  Joe would not do that to anyone.  It would be distracting to and from the Headliner.  And the long drive was looming. How can one be part of staff/organizers and question that?  Rookies?  Joe did what he could given the jam invite.  Worry not people!
