Re: What do you think of this fest?

Greetings music lovers.  Catching up on the last few posts...

Roy, we will meet soon hopefully - as my sis, Sara, and myself will be in Milwaukee for the JB show in March.  I'll be the one who is green color (due to the severe "morning" sickness I have - I will try my hardest not to yack on anyone... but the developing baby in my belly finally has ears formed and definitely needs her/his first show be a JB one.  Please understand!)  The link posted about our little Fest is a good one to get info - but let me know if you have any specific questions I can help you with.  Roy, I can email you with any specifics I get too.

If Dino is at Bluesfest this year (he isn't always - OR he lurks in behind stage) I will be sure to introduce anyone who is interested in meeting him.  He is much more approachable and loveable in person smile  Dino, if there is anyone you don't want to meet, I guess I'll take bribs smile

Jane - someday perhaps you'll make the trek to Wisconsin... as I think I would also like to facilitate a meeting between you and Dino.  I truly think that in person you would find that you have lots in common and could find common ground.  I am by no means claiming to be an expert on either of you (although I enjoy talking to you both quite a bit)...  I am always impressed with your equal amount of passion for music.  Take away the written word and again, I think you both would find communication much easier.  That's just my thoughts.

Anyway - hope to see you all in Wausau for this Blues Festival.  Please come meet the (at the time) very pregnant girl if you make it!  I love meeting fellow JB fans smile

It's a deal then Kristine, you introduce me to Dino if he's there and I'll introduce you to Albert Cummings.

Unless something unforseen happens, I'll be there with my friends Jacque and Ken from Two Rivers. You'll be able to meet them in Milwaukee too.

Hey, don't worry about "yacking" on someone in Milwaukee. Remember, this is at Turner Hall and it has kind of a rustic "yack" feel to it! smile

See you a week from Sunday.......oh Boy, Joe is coming home to Wisconsin. wink

Roy

Joe is the Best!
