Michael,

Albert is not concerned about the "Big Time". When I told him in Chicago that I thought I took a lot of good photos of him, do you know what he said? He said, "Roy, I don't give a sh*t about photos or websites. I'm only here because I care about the music."

When he put Jacque, Ken and I in charge of his CD sales for the night, he set down the case, told us to sell what we could and just put the money in the envelope, that he would be back sometime after the show. Several times after he was done and having a few beers with us, I told him to put the money away. He really didn't care because he had fun and put on a great show. I guess he figured old Wisconsin farmers are honest people. smile

Jacque, Ken and I still break out laughing every time we think or talk about that show, what a fabulous time we had. A more appropriate song that describes Albert is one that he wrote. It's called, "Tell It Like It Is", and with Albert that's what you'll get every time. wink

Cathy and I are also both delighted, though I won't bother to allude to conversations that might have taken place.

You are wise in your ways G Dawg, wink wink.

Re: Congratulations to Albert Cummings......

Albert is in the process of possibly forming his own Street Team. He contacted me and I'm currently working with a long time friend and supporter of his. It's just grass roots so far, but if and when there is a site to register at, I will post it here for people who are interested.

I can't even begin to say how happy this makes me. smile Such a sweet guy besides being a wonderful musician. He's worked hard for this. If it can't be Joe, I'm glad it's another BluesRocker!!!  Congrats to the band too.  Cathy

Re: Congratulations to Albert Cummings......

I'm sad to report an e-mail I got from Albert's bass player Dan. Last Monday his Dad was delivering the Eulogy at his sister's funeral and dropped dead. He's taking time off to be with his Mom and asked for warm thoughts and prayers. I know he'll get lots from here.    Cathy

edit:(Thought I should make it clear it was Dan's aunt's funeral)

Oh my goodness Cathy, this really saddens me. All the guys, Albert, Dan and Aaron are just really great people. What a tragic thing to happen to his family. I'll definitely say some prayers!
