Topic: summerfest

I've been crossin my fingers thet Joe will be back at the Fest soon.  Wisconsin would surely represent in big numbers and you could put the amps at 10!! Come on Joe can you fit us in? December is a long ways away at the casino.

Wisconsin Jimmy- If you're anywhere near the Illinois border, Joe is playing in Crystal Lake, Il. TOMORROW NIGHT and there are tickets available. This show was added a while back because the Saturday night show sold out.
There's a link under the tour section for the Raue Center...you can call the box office and they'll hold tickets for you.

Looks like Summerfest's lineup is booked for 06 except for July 1st (at least at the Amphitheater - but of course Joe is too big in Wisconsin to play at a smaller stage).  However, I'm awefully excited that Pearl Jam and Tom Petty will be playing together for 2 nights!  I know, not Joe, but will be a a show to see none-the-less.  I will repeat your sentiments though Wisconsin Jimmy, it would be AWESOME to see Joe at the Fest.  I love outdoor shows (especially with lots of WI beer and food)!!

I wouldn't give up hope just yet. There are plenty of Joe-sized time slots to still be filled at Summerfest. They've only just begun announcing the acts. And, as I've learned, ther never seems to be any lack of great music there even if your favorite band can't make it.

My only hurdle is that I have plenty of night classes scheduled this summer. sad

Most of the Summerfest stages have not
announced lineups yet - I keep checking hoping to see Joe's name - December is too long to wait !

Joe may be in the area around that time.  I spoke with the owner of Mill Creek (in Appleton) and he's trying to book a Joe show in June.

I admonished him for not getting Monte Montgomery the last time he came to our area.  I had to go to Stevens Point for the show (couldn't miss him).
