Hello NJ, from Long island. Honestly, all my e-bay purchases have been  good experiences.  Most of my gits I have bought from Sweetwater. However,  both my JB GT's were e-bay. Also my JB Epi. I also bought an Eric Johnson Strat. ....., I will say there are plenty of folks on the forums sharing e-bay rip off schemes.

I gotta tell you when I bought my Bonamassa LP I was only out to buy a gold top les paul , I didn't even know who Joe was at the time. I just decided last year to go to my closest guitar center and look for a gold top, seems everbody goes for the bursts so I wanted a gold top. I ended up liking the gold top with a black back, when I was paying for it the guy told me to enjoy my Bonamassa LP . I told the guy who the hell is Bonamassa. He went in to detail about Joe and with in 3 months I had his whole cd and blu ray collection including bloodline, also went and saw him at the Chicago theater this past may. I normally don't buy signature models , I don't like owning a guitar with someone elses name on it but this one plays and sounds really well, not my best playing guitar but one of the good ones. and thanx for the welcome!

I just bought a used Joe Bonamassa standard les paul. You say you got #38 or #138, how can I tell what number mine is? I assume it's in the serial number. Mine is LPJB2GBCH1, manufactured 12/11/2012, serial number: 132120679.
