Re: Los Lonely Boys

You guys aren't the only ones that feel this way. I have many personal friends who are tuned into current music that think these guys have peaked. I went so far as to buy a copy of Sacred....it's collecting dust somewhere around here.

Scared has some good songs...Orale, Diamonds, Oye Mamacita, Roses, Texican Style and Outlaws are good songs IMO. Granted, that's about half the album. But there are one or two other decent tracks. But yeah, even it's a real drop off from the first. The latest is better than Forgiven which was a total snoozefest. But it wasn't up to par either. It had a couple of really terrible songs.

This band had a great debut and has got weaker with each album every since. That's too bad.

That pretty much sums up my feelings about LLB.  In the end the band succumbed to creative deprivation.

Add me to the list.I really liked the first album. These guys have so much potential.Maybe its just their tastes have changed.I think they should crank up the blues rock.Like to hear them channel a little more early Santana too like ONDA

L.L.B. are still a great band live.......
I have to agree on their latest releases are very weak compared from the first couple ones...maybe time for a couple of solo albums?

And so castles made of sand melts into the sea, eventually.........

Yes.  I was thinking the same thing myself yesterday.  Henry ought to test the solo waters, but if he and his brothers are happier as LLB then more power to 'em.

Re: Los Lonely Boys

Not a big fan of Rockpango. Just doesn't do it for me. Maybe it's because I bought it right along with Dust Bowl and there's just no comparison.  lol
