Re: The Answer????????????????

Got the new Answer cd Revival in the post yesterday. Fantastic. Heavy, heavy blues-rock. As good as their first. I highly recommend this to anyone that likes bands like Zepplin and black Country Communion.

When I was a child I spoke as a child, But all I heard was how I should get ahead,
Now growing up it ain't anything but all This indecision with these debts and doubts
And worries hanging over my head. When I was a child I spoke as a child,
I wish I could remember what I said.

I am travelling down to London to see them on Friday at the Relentless Garage - they always put on a great show. New album is a grower..................

Back again already, Kenny. You can't keep away from the smoke.  big_smile

Beware of standing too close to the stage on Friday. David, Maggie and I saw them at the Borderline earlier this year and it got very moshy towards the end when the singer decided to crowd surf. I was in my usual spot just left of centre and got a real squashing. David must have esp as he went to the bar just before and luckily Maggie was just out of the critical zone.

A great band tho'. That guitarist is pretty good.

Love those guys. Very Old School.

Re: The Answer????????????????

Glad to see there are more fans of the band. I'm hoping that there will be a chance to see them in the coming year again.

New album is like the last. A few plays and the 'crunch' of it really gets to you. I've met them a few times now and they are such a great bunch of lads. I suspect they might not go 'mega'as I hoped they once would, but I hope they can stay in it for the long run and make a living at it.

If not I could see great things for Cormac. Jimmy P could  get together with him and deliver the best album he's done since The Firm. The bloke has a voice to die for............

Re: The Answer????????????????

I saw them last Monday when I was in Nottingham at The Rescue Rooms, storming gig. They said that they would be playing Rock City in March so I'm assuming they'll be doing more UK gigs too. Keep an eye out folks.

This is why we should have a "like" button, as Facebook does. A band that has grown on me much over the last 12-24 hours. If they tour in March, along with Bonamassa in Edinburgh, it shall be a good month for gigs!

Re: The Answer????????????????

A wee bit about the Answer.

Paul Rodgers picked them to be his support act at his Albert Hall gig in October 2006.

In December 2007, Planet Rock had a Xmas Party in December 2007 at the Islington Academy. Paul joined them onstage for "I'm a Mover" and "The Hnter". There was a very limited edition cd of the show.
