Topic: Gibson "The Paul"

I just finished reading a bunch of reviews on Gibson's "The Paul". It was made in the late 70's, and i have read nothing but amazing things on it. I found one, and i think im gonna get it. If anyone has an first hand experience, let me know please.

Yeah, I've seen a few over the years. A bit lumpy and lacking in finesse to some degree. But I guess if you can pick one up at the right price then you'll get yourself a decent 'workhorse' guitar. Just don't spend too much on it.

thanks for the heads up. If I do get the one I found, I'll be getting it for about half of what they are supposedly worth

Check the back of the headstock and neck for any breaks or repairs. How much are you paying for it?

Last one I saw was £400 so I reckon you're doing pretty good there wink Mind you, how much is a new LP Studio in the USA?

I just decided to save my money and put it towards a real les paul
