What's Your Favorite Effect/Pedal?

For me, it has to be a "Hoochie-Mama".

Re: What's Your Favorite Effect/Pedal?

Still digging my Timmy pedal!

But, I got an MO'd yesterday, and haven't had a chance to "ar it out" yet. I used to love my RAT pedal. So, I figure this will be a keeper.

Haven't tried a "Hoochie Mama" (since getting married, that is!).

    Oops! Wrong "Mama"!

What is the HM? Is it an OD pedal? Is it similar to anything else? A Tube Screamer, or DS-1?

man that is tough for sure......i have to break it down into categories.

for overdrive i dig the ibanez ts-808 tubescreamer

for essentially a clean boost with a little dirt then i prefer the Zendrive

for delays i like the tc electronic nova delay

for chorus i like the tc electronic stereo chorus

in addition to those i love my MXR phase 90.....the pedal is awesome.

Re: What's Your Favorite Effect/Pedal?

I love the DD-3 digital delay, tube screamer a close second

Re: What's Your Favorite Effect/Pedal?

- Boss DD-3 (got 2 of them, amazing)
- Tubescreamer , by the way I have a good clone, a TS-9 and TS-7.
I compared them with a TS-808 from 1984. It wasn't any better than the cheaper models

Re: What's Your Favorite Effect/Pedal?

Still using my Jim dunlop wah and Fulltone 69.. Though im gassing for that pearl drive still :x

Stratovari do u mean they are the same? I've always been told to stay away from newer variants of the tubescreamer, never actually tried any of them though :x

Re: What's Your Favorite Effect/Pedal?

im not sure, i wanna try a dd-7 pedal as well, but i have an ibanez distortion pedal for my rhythm, which sounds great, but for eberything else, i use my amp .

Re: What's Your Favorite Effect/Pedal?

Well, I think just about any version of a TS sounds pretty good. Even the cheap old Sound Tank versions had a cool vibe to them.

Probably the ones I've thought were the best? Maxon, Eternity, Tejas, Blues Devil, 808, Retro Sonoc, Full Drive.

Re: What's Your Favorite Effect/Pedal?

I just really love my Voodoo Lab Tremolo. It's really smooth and very versatile. If you like that jack-hammer stutter sort of sound (not for me), it'll to it. But if you like that smooth, shallow-sloped tremolo that just adds a little atmosphere (my favorite) it'll do that too, very reminiscent of the old Fender tremolos. I also really like my Keeley Ultra Mod DS-1 as long as you don't jack up the gain too much.

Re: What's Your Favorite Effect/Pedal?

My personal favourite at the moment in my Fender Fuzz Wah pedal. The wah isnt real good, but I am just loving the fuzz feature of the pedal, I think it gives a very nice vintage edge to my amps tone. I love it anyways smile

Re: What's Your Favorite Effect/Pedal?

Put all the pedals (except a helios to cook the tubes) on the shelf, threw away the plywood pedal board and got a M13. So much flexibility, so many good sounds in there. Sure, maybe the tube drive effect isnt quite as good as my TIM, Klon, OCD, Eternity or whatever, but when the drummer starts slamming around-I can't tell the difference.

Re: What's Your Favorite Effect/Pedal?

Hi all
I probably use my Crybaby more than anything else in particular. ( which is about right as i am a grumpy old man , always crying about something. ha ha ha)
so much so i'm on to my 4th smile

everything else is in my boss floor pedal where the basics are programmed in.
depending on which guitar i use depends on the bank #

Re: What's Your Favorite Effect/Pedal?

Right now it is a tossup between either my Voodoo Lab Micro Vibe or my MXR Carbon Copy Delay.
