Im lovin Starship right now. That chord is great!

Right!
Sometimes, I play the chords one octave higher (and some time later I heard, in newer versions of Starship Trooper, Joe does it, too). That sounds really great!!!

how do you play it an octive higher?  Just above the 12th fret you mean right?

Yeah. So for Example

3        15
1        13
0         0  !
2  --> 14
x         x
3        15

OK I dont have that version.
There are tons of licks in there

I love this one but its hard for to fret the B (B string 12th fret) after the bend.  How do you do it?  Do you bar the "12s"?

--12------------12--------------12-------------
-----12--15B-------12---15B-------12---15B-
--------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------

For picking do you down pick on the bent D (15th fret B string) and then up strokes on the E and B?

since you're good at this stuff whan JB lickes do you like?

Öhhmmmm... that are veryveryvery, very much!

For example the fast licks in Starship Trooper, Sloe Gin, Blues Deluxe, Just got Paid, etc.
Licks played in steppin out, the just got paid licks in the quiet part!, in Trouble Waiting,...
The licks in the pre-solo of are you experienced//Pain and sorrow, licks in Had to cry today and in the secret version of the song"Superstition"...
...and...etc.......

Almost in every song there are at least a few cool licks to learn and play!

Re: Many TABs

No need to shout, but no it's not your guitar playing. Both of those tabs are horrible.

Re: Many TABs

Is there any chance you could tab the acoustic version of "If heartaches were nickels" from the latest CD, It's a fantastic version.

Cheers!

Hey JBJHJM,

These tabs are awesome! Thanks for posting them. I want to learn the acoustic version of High Water Everywhere. Just wondering which version exactly this is from, is it from the new CD or is it from another version?

Thanks
Jess
