Topic: Acoustic...

I had a few questions (I may just be stupid an not be able to find where it's talked about elsewhere) But what kind of acoustic is Joe currently using?
And how do you direct your signal? D.I.Box? Or I'm just oblivious to how it actually is ran, but I'd love to hear :-D

Last I heard Joe was playing Yamaha acoustic guitars.

Yeah Joe's using a Yamaha acoustic now - theres an ad thats been running the the guitar mags with Joe and a Yamaha... he runs it through a DI box then through a rack pre-amp (can't remember exactly which one right now, I know its somewhere on the forum...) then to FOH

Why though? I prefer the Takamine tone so much more! Everything about it! It looks great, ive played a similar model and they play pretty good as well.
But hey, its Joes taste, and ya cant beat his.
Gotta try one tho, they probably are better, so i'll find one.

Takamine are good Electro Acoustics yes, But Yammies are very nice once you get past all the beginner guitars they churn out..

Its all a personal preference though I prefer my crafters tone to alot of others I picked it over some decent acoustics

Kl, they sound good too, my dad has one, and when i first plugged it in, i was completely blown away, sadly he lives not so near, so i dont play it too often, i howeverm have a washburn, i want a pickup for it though, coz i want to bring out the sound, an string it with better strings, coz after all, it affects the tone, currently, i use 9 - 42's bad mistake. I bought too many for my PRS, so replaced my acoustics with these, so yeah. What do you recomend acoustic wise?

I did use Diaddario Bronze Phosphor 11's but the last few times I went to get strings they didnt have any so I changed to Martin SP Phosphor Bronze 11-52 CUSTOM LIGHTs which are just as good if not better cheaper too...

I suggest you take it to a shop when you change back to acoustic strings though the extra tension could damage the neck on your guitar....
