Don't worry, there is a big discussion right now on many Batman web sites on whether or not a certain character is dead or not. And both make pretty convincing arguments.

I'm honestly surprised an IMAX in Branson would be playing the Black Knight! What with all the violence and language...from my last trip to Branson I got the feeling it was a town full of patriotic retirees smile

Hell, I'm even surprised there's an IMAX IN Branson!

Branson has some cool stuff. It's not all Andy Williams and the Lawrence Welk theater. You should go to the Outback there. AMAZING.

I love this movie way more than Iron Man, but I've been a Batman fan since the cradle. And I really enjoyed Iron Man. But come on, Batman's a badass.

This will be the third time I've seen this movie. I think I'll call it quits after 3. Unless when I get back down to school and some of my friends force me to go see it again. big_smile

Re: Something a bit more fun to talk about...THE DARK KNIGHT!

I never saw Iron Man or the new Hulk...aren't they remaking a bunch of super hero movies so they can have an Avengers movie?

Re: Something a bit more fun to talk about...THE DARK KNIGHT!

Just found out that the Dark Knight just cross 200 million. It's the fastest amount of time to 200 million in history, just five days. The previous record was 8 days held by like 3 movies.

Re: Something a bit more fun to talk about...THE DARK KNIGHT!

Well I finally watched it last night. I tried to not believe all the hype around it, and remain unbiased. However 2-1/2 hours later, I have to say...they were so right. This film lives up to everything being said about it, simply brilliant, dark, thrilling, sad, humourous, action-packed, epic!! The cast, script and direction were all top notch, and Ledger deserves all the praise that follow such a performance. It's a crying shame he's not around to personally bathe in all the glory.

I had read that it went above all the other "comic book" films (soooo true), and went into the category reserved for such sequels like Empire Strikes Back, and Godfather II, which is heady praise indeed......but true in my opinion. How Nolan follows this, I just don't know!

It's up there with Heat for me I have to say. Yes Roy, I did just say that!! cool

Re: Something a bit more fun to talk about...THE DARK KNIGHT!

Yep. It's probably gonna pass the first Spiderman (407 mill) as the biggest superhero movie ever. It just became the quickest to 300 million (10 days) while the ones before that were 18. And they're now saying it has an outside shot at taking on Titanic. If all goes as it should, it should pass 400 million by the end of the week, making it the fastest to 400 million, cutting that total in half, I think the Dark Knight will have done it in 18 or 19 days, while Shrek 2 holds that record now with 43. This movie is HUGE. And it makes me so happy, because Batman has always been my favorite of the superheroes, and it made me so sad when they sent him down the toilet with Batman Forever and Batman & Robin. Thank God for Christian Bale and Chris Nolan.

Re: Something a bit more fun to talk about...THE DARK KNIGHT!

No it was Terminator Salvation. It was during a very intense scene and the camera guy kept getting in where he shouldn't. McG, the director, has already said it was his fault it happened, because it was during a very intense and emotional scene, and he had gotten all of the actors very hyped up. It wouldn't happen during this movie, because Christopher Nolan knows how to run a film set. wink

By the way, we're approaching the one year anniversary of this amazing film. I know what I'm going to do to celebrate. smile

Deez,

You're not dressing up in a Batman suit and going to a Joe show, are you? Remember, that's been done before by one of the more "colorful" people on this forum! lol
