Topic: new pickup rings dont line up

I just got some cream colored pickup rings from AllParts, and the holes don't line up from the black ones I had on my guitar.  Do I have to re-drill the holes for the pickup rings????

NPB- I wouldn't drill any holes.  I'd send them back and get official Gibson parts (if it's a gIbson of course).  You would think they'd fit huh?

Stanley Cup USA, huh?  We almost had ya!!  I'm from Pittsburgh and we gave you a run but honestly, the better team one.  Congrats!  The Red Wings were amazing in the Finals.

I guess this is a really common problem after talking to a couple luthiers. Especially with Epiphones and humbucker accessories that are not Gibson parts on Gibson guitars.
Even so, I had to do some Dremel magic to get a new creme Gibson pickguard to fit my vintage LP.
