Topic: Joe at the Monterey Blues Festival
First, an apology to Joe and his friends / staff here who made the polite request that we amateur photographers get a permission slip prior to photographing Joe. Unfortunately, that is all but impossible at Festivals. At many Festivals, cameras are not allowed - which really sucks. At others - the ones I prefer, at least out West here - cameras are allowed.
I try to respect the unwritten rules - all photos within the first three numbers, no flash, and no commercial distribution. I am strictly amateur - as I am sure most others here are.
So again - I apologize; I have no permission slip. But the Festival allows cameras, and I hope you all understand that some of us do this because we love the music ....
