Topic: Easy-Peg for acoustic guitars...

I just caved in and bought some of these. It ended up being around $45.
I really hated the plastic pegs I had in my Fender SJ-65 super jumbo. These are made out of brass and have a unique way of not putting stress on the bridge.

So from there it'll be switching out the crap plastic nut on the guitar with either tusq, bone, or graphite...
then it will be good to GO!

When ur finished do tell if they are any good, really love my acoustic but everytime I change strings I worry bout them making grooves in the bridge..

Re: Easy-Peg for acoustic guitars...

Right now I'm figuring that ANYTHING is better than plastic. Just a matter if it's worth the $ching$

Re: Easy-Peg for acoustic guitars...

OK - i just got it. The crappy plastic nut on the acoustic busted right at the low E.  Some super glue fixed it, but it'll have to get replaced.

The low E sounds deeper and high E clearer. I guess I say that because it feels like the guitar resonates a lot more with these pegs in there. Plus they're out of Indiana, made in US.  They also look very nice.

So I guess it was worth the money. A big step up from the crap plastic stock ones...
