Topic: Guitar Center bought by Target?

I heard a rumor today that this happened a few months ago! Has anyone else heard this?? A friend who is a frequent customer was told this over the weekend. How odd!!   Cathy

Cathy, just called Jimi Dunlop and asked if he heard anything about it. He said he hadn't heard anything to the effect, and he does a lot of business with Guitar Center.

A private investors group bought in last year, but I don't know who they were fronting for or if anything recent went down.
