Hey Joe,

Congrats man! Another signature guitar notch on your belt. We're all very proud of you.

And to the Rest of the Forum,

Just think, Christmas is only 8 months away and remember, the BluesMan usually gets no presents for Christmas. Wouldn't it be just really nice if all of you pitched in and bought me a new Joe Bonamassa Gibson Les Paul guitar? Gosh, it would make me so happy. big_smile

Great news!
Too bad you had to give it back right?!
Glad you are happy about it and that it turned out better than you hoped.

Re: My New Guitar

SWEET!!!!!  Congratulations Mr Bonamassa.  You deserve all of this.
Great way to spend the day..............playing your own signature les paul.............wow

Re: My New Guitar

How exciting for you Joe. You must have been like a kid at Xmas when it arrived. You probably feel honoured to have the Les Paul name associated with yours and I'm sure they feel exactly the same way.
Very happy for you...............Tripsy smile

Uhm....what's the name of the song you wrote immediately?

I agree with Deezer, quality control is important :-)

Re: My New Guitar

AWESOME!!! It will probably be out of my price range, but I'm still hoping that it will be in Guitar Centers so that I can have some fun with it.

Re: My New Guitar

Hi Joe, I guess you will be demoing the guitar at the Gibson booth at the NEC in November. Are you scheduling any other appearances at booths throughout the day. Same question goes to Bogie, Rick, and Carmine???????

Sue & I are planning the whole day there as well as attending the gig in the evening and would like to maybe drop by if there is a set time schedule??

Re: My New Guitar

I'm kinda stunned that nobody's asked what mods you came up with to differentiate your LP from the standard gold top? really, really interested. maybe I missed this in another post somewhere.  Still loving my Gigliotti JB model. thanks,

Re: My New Guitar

We already know tongue  There is another thread here with the specs. I'll link it when I track it down.

Re: My New Guitar

Any word on the release date and how many will be made?

Re: My New Guitar

From the current street team newsletter:

"The Signature Gibson is going through production
now and should be on sale at certain retail stores
in July 2008. We will keep you updated when
more information comes in about this once in a
life-time dream guitar for Joe and where you can
purchase it. (There will be a limited amount made)"

I've no idea how much it will be, but I expect the demand will be high. smile

Re: My New Guitar

Saw and got to talk with Joe both nights at the Birchmere, got my gigliotti signed by it's name sake! Dave also let me run a couple scales on the new JB gold top prototype, like a old pair of comfortable jeans. Just pick it up and it sings,  really fun thanks, Joe.  I'll be one of the first to buy once it's available to mere mortals.  It's place is reserved next to my 77 gold top standard (not great but the first "real quitar I could afford as a broke 18 year old college student,  $449, still have the reciept!)
