Re: Caveman's Diary Update

Yep, thanks Lee.  This is always fun - and I like the fact that YOU escort us into The Caveman's diary - it's nice that way.  I liked the sound of this line:

"Got to review Joe's original compositions with him, one of which might just be one of the best blues songs I've ever heard" - yummy - intriguing - CAN'T wait!!!

P.S.  The views made me realize that I've been lookin' at the desert sand for a wee bit too long.  While it might be awhile for an island escape, at least I have Doheny rising in my near future - like a big sun.  JOE and the OCEAN - now THERE is a combo I could survive on.

I know that Joe could play one of those kid's guitars with the plastic strings and make it sound good-

Re: Caveman's Diary Update

I didn't see anyone post this update from April 26th. It gives some interesting insight into what may have held up the live album release, (and how it was resolved) as well as a correct track listing.

here's a page I found about Oliver Leiber http://www.studioexpresso.com/profiles/oliverleiber.htm
i figure thats who he meant but i've been wrong before. looks great

Yeah, Jane, this sounds exciting as Oliver has quite a record of success.  Plus, it's like 2 members of the Tom Dowd crowd's (from "Tom Dowd & the Language of Music") next generation are getting together to continue the musical greatness.  Sweet musical dreams are made of this . . .
