My 16 yr old daughter just informed me that MTV has a show called "Rock the Cradle" and that Crosby Loggins is on it.  I laughed and told her I've already voted numerous times!  She ain't got nuthin' on her old momma!  Crosby became her newest crush when we saw him opening for Joe at Emens Auditorium in Indiana last fall.

Great musicians have a language & vocabulary that transcends the usual barriers & touches us on a more primitive , basic & yet complex level....

I agree, Libby. I usually love a loud band, but i could hardly hear Crosby. I'm hoping he doesn't listen to that "fashion stylist's " advise, and start jumping around and putting on some kind of fake show. I would like if he would be true to himself, and show his talent (which I'm pretty sure he will).

My review of the show is:
Most of the contestants (and judges, who are they?) have very little talent, and no performing experience.

The host is horribly obnoxious. The whole time watching I was complaining "Who is this guy, and why am I being forced to listen to his BS?".  (Susan was not thrilled with my yelling at the TV...).

I think Belinda Carlisle needs professional help.

I hate to admit it, but I really liked Dee Snider's son (at least you can tell he's a performer.)

Crosby is too talented and serious of a musician to be on this silly show.

HOLY CRAP BATMAN!!!!! I can't wait to hear him do Danny's Song, that will blow the roof off the joint regardless of what those loser judges think.

I love this song, heard Kenny sing it live many times and Crosby has joined him a couple of times.  At least he doesn't have to learn the lyrics!!  I hope he asks the crowd to sing along, might add that extra touch.  I'll be watching Thurs.

I thought Crosby was very good last night!!! smile  I was surprised Eddie Money's daughter got bumped over Olivia's.

All I know is that Belinda Carlisle sucks...I think that all the judges are weak and don't deserve to be judging anything...

You got that right. But in all honesty Lara Johnston, Jesse Snider, and Crosby Loggins are the only talent on the show.  The rest of them make me cringe.  They really do.
