Topic: Think I've Died And Gone to Heaven - And a Huge Thanks

Since experiencing my Bonabaptism last Friday at Crewe and joining the forum the following day, I've been really bowled-over by the friendliness and generosity of the folks here.

Today, thanks to one such forum member, the postman brought me a package of heavenly delights... 5 CDs of live, smokin, steamin, rockin, blues'in JOE!! big_smile:D:D:D

I can't thank the kind forum member responsible enough. I truly feel like I have died and gone to heaven!!

If I'm alive when I'm 99 I'm still gonna be saying, "Remember 4th May 2009 when we saw Joe at the RAH... what a night that was!"

Re: Think I've Died And Gone to Heaven - And a Huge Thanks

It never ceases to amaze me the generosity of the Bonamassa fans (ESPECIALLY the members of this forum) in sharing the music of our "hero"! While I am not around here as often as I'd like, I've always "returned" to find that new fans are always warmly welcomed.
I'm certainly glad to hear that you now have many hours of amazing music to enjoy!

Thanks Florida Dave... I'm currently listening to nothing but Joe... and his live stuff is awesome. It seems there is nothing he can't do with/on a guitar!

Isn't is all just wonderful Cheshire_Lass/Libby?  Of course, it makes perfect sense to me that someone as genuine, warm and friendly as Joe Bonamassa would have a legion of fans with the same qualities.  I'm so glad that we all have a place to visit with one another.

I know that Joe could play one of those kid's guitars with the plastic strings and make it sound good-

Hi Libby smile

Sorry I hadn't seen your post (I forgot to subscribe doh!)

So true Libby, this is a great place inspired by, as you say, a guy with a really kind heart and generous spirit and those qualities seem to pervade the forum.

Oh and I just came across the term for us on another thread... Bonnabuddies big_smile
