Re: So you hate all rap artists?

Now I think its well established by many that Soulja is more of a novelty artist than someone interested in a serious rap career.  William Hung comes to mind.... smile

I think youre really onto something with those rhymes Roy big_smile

I don't like that particular song either, or rap for that matter, but you forget one thing: girls dance to that song. And I like dancing with girls. smile

There my friend....you have now hit the nail on the head......WHAM!

And as history clearly shows, men put up with (and even begin to like/request) things that girls like to dance to. That's how we get drawn in to this web.......

Believe me, my wife and I share an iPod. There are songs on it that I would never listen to, or buy on my own. But its what she and her girlfriends like to listen to on the way out on the town. It gets the mood set.

Good enough for me!

So Phil, are you saying we men are slaves to our women? That we will do anything just to get near them or in this case, to dance with them? That as long as they're happy, then the world is a good place to live?

Well, I'm just asking................

Because that's how it is at my house!! lol

Yes dear, I'm typing on Joe's forum again. Oh yes, thank you for allowing me another 5 minutes before I have to repaint the living room, do the dishes, give the dog a bath and clean the bathrooms. Don't worry I'll take Ben to his guitar lesson and Sarah to her golf lesson. You just sit there and watch TV, if you want to that is. Oh, and by chance, is there any possibility of a little nooky later? No? OK, that's alright I understand. Now where did I put that paint brush? lol

Roy

Oh poor, poor guys! You bring tears to my eyes .... lol

I love Kid Rock! smile

Anyone who dug that Gnarls Barkley song "Crazy" might wanna check this out too... it's a guy mixing "Crazy" with The Beastie Boys song "Check It Out".  Now I'm not a huge Beastie Boys fan, but they are good at what they do, and I dig some of their stuff.  It's just cool how these songs mix, very catchy... and in watching this guy and his timing, you can see there is a certain art to it...

Re: So you hate all rap artists?

How about POPA CHUBBY ?! lol

In this case I´m on Mr. Roy 'Rap is crap' Ebert´s site ... just never heard anything that I really liked in this genre.
Kid Rock can be quite good sometimes, but I wouldn´t call him a "rap artist" ... well he´s no pure Rocker too, but anyway.

Concerning music I´m intolerant and happy with it. lol

Re: So you hate all rap artists?

Gnarls Barkley has a new album out April 8 called The Odd Couple. Very interested to see what they're going to do. They're very unpredictable.

Re: So you hate all rap artists?

I love the older rap. When Rapper's Delight came out, I thought that was the greatest. Grandmaster Flash, Run DMC, The Beastie Boys and Public Enemy are also favorites. Don't like any of the new stuff though.
