Topic: New US tour dates

I see the Birchmire in Va. has shown up..that means he's in the area...Come on Joe!    Cathy

Re: New US tour dates

After looking at the lineup on their website,I am disappointed to not see Joes name included in this years Western Maryland Blues Fest. I have made the few hour treck there from Pittsburgh for the past few years and always had a great time. Just wont be the same without the band closing the festival. Im not sure if that is what you are anticipating or not ???

Tell me about the car i saw parked outside your door ? Tell me what you left me waiting two or three hours for ? Tell me why when the phone rings, baby, your up and across the floor ? Please dont keep me wondering no more.....

Re: New US tour dates

Two nights at the Birchmere...very nice.  I assume this will be a seated show tho. sad  Not a huge fan if their seated venue..

Oh well, I'm just excited he's in the DC area...

No, I am not going to Hagerstown..very disappointed in the line up. Hoping for some Baltimore dates! I'll consider a festival outside Md IF they give us more dates.   Cathy

Re: New US tour dates

I'd love to see Joe booked at "The Crest Theater" in old town Sacramento...I saw Derek trucks there a few years ago, it's the best gig I've ever seen in this town...they had Larry Carlton and Robben Ford there last summer too...they dont book alot of gigs there, but when they do, there top notch names...I just checked there calender, August is not booked yet...Joe is playing 1 hour away in the mountains on Aug 9th...hey I can wish smile...

Re: New US tour dates

Chris, The Birchmere is a huge room with tables everywhere, there isn't a bad seat in the house and the sound quality is outstanding.  They seat you by a numbers system so if you're going, get there early.

Yeah, I've been there, but I have had some bad seats.  Had good seats for Buddy Guy, terrible corner seat for Dr. John...could barely see him, and I got in fairly early.

I'm dazed and confused you guys.  The link that BigJeff provided me above doesn't show me anything different than my own direct link to the tour date page.  I see nothing about VA or The Birchmere.  I see Europe ending @ the end of March, then 2 dates in FL, then TN, then Canton on 6/20 (MY BDAY and MELISSA'S TOO), then NY, CO, OR, CA (YAY!!!), and then 3 dates in ONT.  Are you all saying that you're seeing more info than that on the tour page?

Jane, you were chatting with JOE?  Lucky.  smile

you got some werid computer  thing maybe? date right on your comp/ anyway tour page was updated 2-25. you might need to delete your temporary internet files (tools-options)
anyway yeah 2 new dates and yeah i ca't believe i just talked to Joe on the phone. next time i will be more prepared but i bet i will still be tongue tied

HELP!!!

Thanks for the suggestion Jane.  I tried it but it didn't change anything.  My tour page still says it was last updated on 2/14.  That is freaking me out.  You guys are going to have to keep me updated until I get this glitch fixed.  Any other suggestions?

Re: New US tour dates

personally id rather see joe at a seated venue.  even though i most definitely prefer standing shows where the crowd actually moves around a little bit, i have accepted that that just is not the crowd that follows him(for the most part).  all the shows i have seen him have been in standing venues where i have seen other bands and they actually set up seats in all of them.  like they set chairs up in the ga standing room parts.  so you might as well just see him in a nice theater with a comfortable seat.
