Topic: The Forum

I think some of you people never work...ROY for one  wink  ...seriously, when...how...where...how often....do we check in on the forum??...Myself..I check in at around 5am when I'm pounding some rocket fuel (strong coffee)....I get to work, got access to a friends lap top...get out on the route to deliver the mail, got access to a computer on a lot of my business...my favorite is at the private airport on my route....they have a pilots lounge with 2 computers, hot coffee, pastrys, fruit, popcorn, flat screen TV...I sat next to a pilot from Japan the other day, dude spoke no english, so we just smlied at each other...lol....we've had Paul McCartney fly in as well as other famous peeps...you can always tell when someone with some clout is coming in, they keep the limos lined up....so what's your story??....hey if your rich and retired then I dont care for you, unless you want to throw some money my way  smile  ...oh yeah, i spend a few minutes in the evening too, just in case anyone e-mails me

Re: The Forum

I check the forum everyday, first before I go to work, when I get home from work and in the evening too.

I'm a highschoolteacher and have time enough for the forum. My school is 50 meters from my house, so when I have no lessons or meetings I can go home and watch the forum.
I do a lot of schoolwork at home because I have 2 younger children and my wife works too.

You can say this forum is a part of my life now and I love it. Till 3 years ago I played indoorsoccer 4  times a week, it was  my greatest hobby together with wine and music. But after 43 years of competitionsoccer I got an injury on my akle and it was over.
I got the injury 2 days after I saw Joe the first time live in Duiven Holland and his music and you all replaced my soccercareer!!
Strange things I would say, coincidence?

That's me,

Andre Wittebroek.

Re: The Forum

OK..I know I seem pathetic BUT Since I take care of my Mom, I'm pretty much homebound unless I have a sitter..So, I'm a walk bye poster..Walk to kitchen check-in..and continue until the night..I'm also very fond of a lot of people here, think of them as my friends. Glad to have this source of info and entertainment!   Cathy

Re: The Forum

The computer's on at work all day so I can check in every now and then. I also take a look if I'm home during the evening but if I've been doing a gig I'll grab a beer and take a look at the site while I unwind before bed.

Re: The Forum

Yeah, it's a life-line for me.  It is my safe place I run away to.  I can not remember what life was like before it and all of you.  I feel so lucky & honored to be here among all of you.    My work comrades always ask for a Joe update, so The Forum serves as a news reporter.  My Mom & sister Bev always ask me when they call, "Where is Joe at now?" so The Forum also serves as a "roadmap."

The compass always points back to Joe.    ?       pattyluvsjoe & pattlyluvstheforum

Re: The Forum

I check out the forum whenever I feel like it..............GOSH!!!!! OK so much for the Napoleon Dynamite. Really just when I get the urge and time permits. I find it a good way fill spare time when I could be doing something less productive. Not to mention the friendships that have developed largely in part to Joe's immense talent and grounded personality. I don't think there's any other musician/entertainer I would invest this much energy too. To be perfectly honest I've never gotten this involved as a fan in all my years of music appreciation.

Re: The Forum

I check several times a day.... before I go to work, sometimes at lunch at work, usually at the end of the day at work, then a couple of times at night at home.  I'm always afraid I'm going to miss something good.  I have come across so many great things on this forum, so I figure why not check it often.  I really do have a life... honest...

Re: The Forum

I started a new job in early Dec and i hate it .Can not check to see whats happening during the day .I try at 4.15 am but i got a new juicer and know i am peeling fruit . Re: The Forum

Pretty random for me. In general, at lunch time...but some days I too damn busy. In general, when I'm winding down in the evening...but some days I'm too damn tired.
In general, Saturday and Sunday mornings...unless I have too damn many chores around the house.
I'm in one of those phases lately where I sign in and lurk...too damn little to say!

Re: The Forum

Oh Pete, ask and you shall receive.

Hmmmm......I've been hangin' around here for about 10 days and already have TWO nicknames......Andre called me "Turbo Libby" a few days ago, and now Pete's callin' me "Lightning Libby".  smile  Yes, it does seem as if I've contributed a post here or there in my short time on the forum.  Let's just put it this way - I know NOT the meaning of the word moderation.  I'm also not known for my brevity (as if you hadn't noticed).  I should probably try to work on that so you all can get on with the rest of your lives instead of having to struggle thru my lengthy posts.

By the way, if it isn't glaringly obvious, please let me say that I have thoroughly enjoyed the time I've spent here with all of you.

There goes Bonametal on the inside rail with Bluesman trying to penetrate from the outside (yikes!) and from way back in the pack here comes Lightnin' Libby!!! Tune in tomorrow, same bat time same bat channel.
