Topic: Manchester gig
Saw Joe tonight at the Academy and am well chuffed I went.
He was brilliant, the band was tight and this has got to be the best gig I've seen in years.
Thanks Joe for a great evenings entertainment.

Thanks for the welcome chaps...
Yeah, it was the first time I've seen him. I'm absolutely deperate to see him perform again!
I'm still a bit of a Joe newbie... getting to know all his stuff... but I was blown away by the strength and depth of his playing ability... I've been to around 20 gigs of all types of bands (from AC/DC to Goldie Lookin' Chain). The only time I've ever been bowled over by anyone other than one of my "mainstream" bands was when I saw Y&T support AC/DC erhum years ago! Joe wiped them off the floor.
I was also really REALLY impressed at how tight the band were as well... They sounded fantastic. I never moved from the spot I was on. Joe, you are a star... a great great gig and the band deserve credit too...
A very happy fan!
(Just a coupla questions... what was the f-hole guitar used during some of the numbers? Was Joe classically trained?)
Cheers

Enjoy.
Ges.
Yeah... that was it... and it is a beautiful guitar....
Mark
Hi Mark..I too LOVE the Gigliotti, I think it has magical powers! His original went missing after a leg in Europe. It showed up in storeage under the wrong band, but it was a nervous time! Patrick Gigliotti is loved by many on this forum. Check out the web site. There are axes of every color! As for classical training, I "think" I remember reading that he was trained, but I'm old and could be making it all up! lol Cathy
