Hey now, there are some pretty good JB boots out there.  I'm going to hold you to your statement and expect something really special.  Don't keep me waiting too long . . .

Second thought: While you're at it, release the live CD with a bonus DVD of the North Sea Jazz festival.  Great idea, I know.

Great news!!

Re: "Live From Nowhere in Particular"

This is great news to get the juices flowing on a cold, winter's night.  Thanks a bunch, Joe.  If you say it sounds great that's saying something.

Re: "Live From Nowhere in Particular"

Wow, this is exciting news and now I'm like a little kid waiting for Santa ... I just can't wait!  Is it too much to hope for a live DVD as well?  OK, but if you don't ask ...

Re: "Live From Nowhere in Particular"

My dad and I will have when it comes out. Guaranteed. We both like live stuff over studio stuff since it captures the power of a musician/band. And Joe, you got power.

Go Pack!

Re: "Live From Nowhere in Particular"

Thank you, Joe! There´s just nothing better than hearing you perform live - I´m sure the CD won´t leave all our Cd-Players for a looooong time smile. Any idea when it will be available?! Around summer ?

See you in Munich and Berlin !

Re: "Live From Nowhere in Particular"

the bootlegs are like souveniers of a great night seeing a concert - I love even the shows I missed being there.

A released live CD would be great because the masses can hear your live work without the hassle of having to track down bootlegs just to hear what you're all about. GREAT IDEA.

Re: "Live From Nowhere in Particular"

Hallo Joe,

You mentioned  this before the  31st of December, so I knew it was coming, but thanks again.
I just love live-albums and this one will be fantastic!

Is it already available at your shows in March in Holland? I hope so, maybe you can sign it then , like you did with -Hard to cry today- in 2004.

Re: "Live From Nowhere in Particular"

That's great news Joe!
Can't wait till it comes out.
Any idea when that will be? Don't make us wait to long for it...

Re: "Live From Nowhere in Particular"

This really exciting for several reasons, one of which is simply to be able to hear the way Joe stretches out as a guitarist in a live setting any time we want. Another thing I'm really interested in is hearing the way the new band interprets old favorites, like Mountain Time for instance. It has always been a treat live, the way it builds and retreats, but Carmine and Rick have added a new harmonic foundation that just takes it a completely new level. I swear, when I heard them in Nashville in November I though Mountain Time was one of the great live performances I'd ever heard.

I hope the new, greasy version of Walk In My Shadows in on there. It's just wrong it's so funky.

When, Joe, when?

Blessings,
Larry

Re: "Live From Nowhere in Particular"

Well done Dude! Just hope it captures the atmosphere of some of the smaller venues. I do hope you will anounce where each track was recorded so we can say - Yesssss, I was there!!!!! (if of course I was - Well Michael, you can say it for us!!!!)

Another DVD with the new line up would be just smashing (an old English term) Joe - Any plans?????

Excellent. Now I quit trying to figure out how to burn/rip the audio off the Rockpalast DVD so I can get a decent live version of Mountain Time into my iPod!

on itunes there is a portion of a live album you can get that has mountain time live in perfect non bootleg quality.  4 dollars for five songs or so definitely worth it ge4t on that you wont have to wait.
