Fantastic set of reviews from everyone! Very succint, and very sharp in the details department. Stratcat, nicelly done. The depth of your son's satisfaction upholding that age old truth that "Dad's always right" proved silently (well musically) by a third party....priceless! Bartdude thanks for commenting & coming out of hibernation. Fan those feathers to boost the lift of the wing and get higher and continue to bring some more passengers on this journey. Asspadtycoon, you are another in what appears to be a fast-growing (in leaps & bounds might I say) trend of father & son together at concerts, appears the generation gap may have it's own "Bridge To Better Days". Jim's description is accurate regarding standing waves which involves phase cancellations and also phase enhancments, hence "doubling" volume...Kat & jim your review is awesome and entertainng, makes me feel right at home like I was in a seat there. I think the May Day guitar stacatto morse code sound blast would be disruptive to Joe playing "Sloe Gin" live, definitely a rapid & extreme change in playing technique tha might sound great but throw tempo / timing off if not executed perfectly...just opinion..."THAT LOOK"...Rocket endorsed for "shut up now", not just a simple to understand "shhhuusssh". Especially when recording live for a future album release. Speaking of "live" Misterlee you had a perfect position for relating to later on, moreso if something ends up ON the reording released. I don't blame you, as close to the mix position as possible at every concert I ever attend is a must for me at some point of the evening (not just Joe, EVERY concert, theater, & club experience), many times I swoop on the seating there in larger arenas, or outdoors reserved seating, etc. Since so many want to be up front it's almost always easy too...Fingertip good to hear from you man, hope you keep them & your mouse clicking right here every day (don't be shy)...Hotrod same goes for you thanks guys, hotroad you ought take up with the Aussie Dragster see what transpires as a Street (racing) Team...Patty & Rhonda have a sleepover like they are teenyboppers again!!! Rhonda, I know how much you did promoting and building that buzz & excitement level, and NOW you can take a little bow, a big one if you won't fall over...IF she does Patty get the picture please to go with those of your cartwheelies...
Rock On & Keep the Faith,
Rocket
