Roy - yes, they are on their way (through Two Rivers) to their million dollar houses in
Door County.  Leave a little of that loose change for me!

Re: FOOTBALL!!

Jaci and Roy,

Yes, I'm rubbing it in. I have to. Green Bay is doing so well this year and the Bears...not so much. And Roy is indeed correct that we got our tickets because we have money failling out of our pockets. But what is money for if not for spending? And the night was worth every penny and I'd go back in a heartbeat.

I'm just saying.

As a Redskin fan from way back, I've been going through a lot of lean years. Just my luck that my son now lives in Indy! :-)

go pack go! Go Pack Go!! GO PACK GO!!!! For you non-football fans out there, that's the Green Bay Packers.

However, it's a great time of year to hit the golf course while the game is being played. At least until the snow gets a foot deep, then it makes it kind of hard to find your drive. And putting can be really awful!!

Roy

I actually thought that you were telling me to leave. After all these years together I expected something more than a message on JB's forum!

millhouse

millhouse,

I must have missed this post and I am not sure what you're talking about? I would never tell you to leave and "After all the years together"?? As far as I can remember (which really is not that far) I have never been to Glasgow, Scotland. However, I'd love to go to Scotland and Ireland and play some of their terrific Links Courses.

Actually, I know you're kidding above. That's what we say when we want our beloved Green Bay Packers to really get going on the football field. GO PACK GO!! But you stay here! OK?

Roy

Hey BluesMan

I was trying and failing to be funny. The transatlantic humour link must have crashed again. My reference was to the Go! Pack! Go! As in pack your bags and go! Och forget it but do visit my fine country if you get the chance. The golf is fantastic.:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Hi mill,

I was too, I did catch the joke. Ah, the Old Course at St. Andrews is holy ground. Being raised Catholic, I'd have to genuflect at every tee before making my swing. I'd love to sample the local pubs too after a good go around on a course. Scottish golf followed by some good Scottish drink and food. Does it get any better than that? When I'm 102 years old and in failing health, I'll try to play the Old Course. And if I die there so be it! I hear if you die on the Old Course they'll bury you right there and that would be all right by me. big_smile

Roy

Roy if you die on the Old Course you would probably be fined for holding up play! Better to make it round so you can have a fine meal and some finer Scottish Ale followed by a single malt.

Heaven.
