Pain and Playing

I'm trying to find people who have overcome pain/numbness and cramping in the left hand. I play in a band here in Myrtle Beach and since a vehicle accident I have problems with my left hand. Biggest problem is bar chords especially adding the 5th and 9th. Soloing doesn't bother me as much. I'm 60 years old and trying to enjoy playing as long as I can.
