I'm a very happy camper!!!! Joe's first time there in 17yrs. The Whitaker Center is top notch. Small theater with good sound. Now, a small side story, but important. Months ago the plan was for another covert trip to the States by our friend Michael Lynch. He and his wife, Sharon, were going to visit friends in Pa. and go to Sellersville and Harrisburg. That all went south when Michael's Mom got ill. (She is healing). So Jane and I got Michael's seats right up front. Deanna Bogart opened with some rocking piano and a killer bass player. Then a short break, the room darkened and Bogie came out first...Boom Boom....All in for Bridge to Better Days...Walk in my Shadow...So Many Roads...Mountain Time..Another Kind of Love...Sloe Gin...Highwater Everywhere...Heartaches were Nickel's (typo on the set list says Heartache FOR Nickels)...Woke up Dreaming....Django...Just got Paid...Encore..Asking Around for you/Los Endos.....Just like Utica. There were bits of Frampton and others Carl knows better than I. WOW! I can tell you that when he walked to stage front with the Gigliotti for Mountain Time, the spotlight bounced off the guitar and it was magic. One of those "moments"! This was a Joe friendly crowd to start with. Many "shirts"..(Get your Sloe Gin shirts now!!!) There were parents bringing their kids to hear their music. Way cool! It was a very fluid and powerful set. 75minutes. It went fast! I did miss the "2nd" guitar in the new songs probably because that's how I've learned them but they transition well into the live shows. I am struck by how much Joe's voice continues to "grow", amazing....Just like the new CD, this new set list is mature and very user friendly! We got to see Joe after outside the bus. He was his usual kind and grateful self. Don't worry, we got Michael a whole collection of autographed items. I even printed a copy of Batman with Joe and Joe wrote on the back to Michael "The greatest moment of my career"...So for now, I've had my turn and I'm feeling really good. I know the rest of you here on this street are going to feel the same when it's your turn....And please, someone tell Joe how thin he's gotten..I forgot to tell him and I know he's been working at it......Cathy
