Topic: O'Brien Amps

I saw Joe on the O'Brien page, but little discussion here.

Is Joe still playing them?

Re: O'Brien Amps

I know he was using them for a time- they were pretty prevelant around the time of Y&M... I don't think he's currently using them in his live rig, but I haven't seen many pics of his current live setup... I'm pretty sure he's got a Silver Jubilee, a Cat. 5, can't remember the name of it now, but a Dumbleish amp with EL-34's in it (anyone remember?), and maybe a Two Rock (not sure about that one...0

Hope this helps

The one you're trying to remember is the Carol-Ann...The Cat5 is the Silvery head with the pretty light reflections in Larry G's pics from the Utica gig, not sure if anyone else can identify the amp on the left???  I apologize for neglecting to research it while there nor ask Joe as planned after the show-too much going on!  Here's LarryG's pics...

Ah!  Carol-Ann- thanks Rocket!  I think the other amp in the pic is a Two Rock- Joe's been using one of those for the past couple of years- must like it!
