here is Heart That never Waits live https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1y1_fld3yI
saw the video yesterday and although it sounded great this particular Joe's outfit always reminded me of shooting scene from Terminator 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4sVta4ows78. Wanted to make a joke and post the video, but changed my mind, because of Joe playing in TX, a state with a very lax gun laws. Was shocked, no SHOCKED to learn what happened https://www.instagram.com/p/CVE0fuMFzPf/

I will be going to see Joe in Columbus Ohio in a couple of weeks......who can I expect to see with him in the band ?
Is it just a six piece band at this point ?

I will see Joe next week and will let you know. Hope Josh will be with Joe on the next leg, although he is touring in Europe at the moment.

Thanks reo, that will be much appreciated.
I will certainly miss Anton....but I love the fact that that has been some great special guest so far.
With a smaller band, Joe may do more, which can be a nice change.
Woo-hoo

Yes, Jane! Pain and Sorrow continues to be on the set list and it is beautiful. And here is John Henry https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQO20_ABp5M - sorry for my hands that never steady;) - the slapping motion on teremin was hilarious
So 11.19.2921 Springfield Mass show:
You could tell there were some technical difficulties because unthinkable happened: show started at 8:04
The sound was really muddy for almost half of the show, but got much better later on. The band was unusually subdued, and I was surprised that Josh stayed so much in the shadows and way back during the whole show except for very short albeit fantastic solo.
The set list was the same with minor shuffles. The TTTNW sounded fantastic live although I was secretly hoping for Q&A - but alas - maybe next time.
The whole show was great and fantastic, but it paled in comparison to August RR show. But again it was great because every Joe show is great. I definitely feel like a lifer. He always leaves me wanting more.

Any special guest ?
I am going to see him next Sunday and have great 2nd row seats ....but I feel way less pumped to see him compared to other times......I have watched some videos and I am going to miss Anton......the drummer seems a bit lifeless to me.
whirlwind - No, no special guest. The drummer, Greg Morrow, sounded great.
And seeing Joe before the show in his civilian clothes I know now who is Joe's diet body image goal - Michael Rhodes Joe is getting really close there lol. Glad it wasn't windy outside

I am sure he sounds good, but in the youtube videos that I have seen , he seems pretty subdued and rather emotionless. Not great IMO for watching a live performance..I prefer to see a bit more fun....but we shall see before I really judge.
