Oh crap here comes Joe Bo and he’s grifting again. Please let me know what songs you want to hear us play in the power trio format. Anton, Michael and I are excited for some good old fashioned blasting. Leave a suggestion below and my fine team of internet experts will compile the most popular and we will announce the show and the setlist on Feb 24th. You pick the songs I bring the band. Thank you!

  - That would be mind blowing, Pain and Sorrow is magic...

was looking today at Joe's instagramm post picture which is focusing on violin strings, and kept thinking how I would love to hear The Last Song For My Resting Place. It doesn't fit into the power trio format, but maybe Joe could do it without violin...Sigh... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3QxwYWYzEis

Re: Big Announcement from Joe

I like the sound of this, think it’s a great idea.
Is it an online concert or a future live set?
Borderline Part 2.

I’d go for Mountain Time and ANDY.

Lester...

Re: Big Announcement from Joe

I had so many songs to ask for but i went with Pain and Sorrow
very interested to learn what the tally is from the responses

Re: Big Announcement from Joe

i just tied looking on the instagram...more than 1000 comments
scrolling through i didnt see too many for Pain and Sorrow so i'm glad it seems to have made the tally...at least they were practising it

i'll try to find the facebook post

I had thought of sooo many other tunes to mention but stuck with Pain and Sorrow
like for instance after i put Royal Tea on one day i was like duh oh yeah Lookout Man! but...hmm trio...but hmm...yeah i think Joe could do ok without the harmonica but it is outstanding on the album

was cool to see some shout outs on the instagram post for Jeff Healey tunes...I was listening to a few recently that are worthy to suggest as covers...but idk for this upcoming show...I'd hope that would be mostly Joe tunes

anyway getting excited for this virtual event

i woudn't pay attention to 1000 comments, rather look at 3-5 special posters that Joe is  keeping an eye at and who is important to him for several various reasons - his representative sample of sorts lol haa smile  -

Re: Big Announcement from Joe

woke up in the middle of the night so i took the time to scroll the comments in the instagram post
i was pleased to see quite a number (20 or so?) shout outs for Pain and Sorrow

I often wonder how much Joe sees in the comments, esp if its been some time since the post was posted

i wanted to click profiles of some but then i lost my place scrolling...i'm often tapping the wrong thing on my phone anyway...but i also was intrigued by many song suggestions that folks posted that were unique...not the same as others and unexpected to me
i really want to hear their Joe stories

i saw some familiar fans there too. its cool that there is that place for fans to interact with Joe
especially in this pandemic

then there were some comments that i felt like well based on their song suggestions, some whole set list suggestions, i thought to self, well i dont know, i found myslef judging them as Joe fans...so not right...we all like Joe and his songs for various reasons but point i guess i m trying to make is as much as i want to hear some Joe stories i determined some to be wholly uninterested in

i'm just rambling but i did find it more interesting and less time consuming than I previously thought

anyway thanks for the tip...i'll have to play around with the platform a bit more and see if i can notice more interesting things

i know theres tons of comments on facebook too...so many fans its so hard to keep up. its great though when Joe asks for input!!
