Topic: Live from Nerdville interviews

I know some mentioned in other threads but thought I would make one for this series of interviews joe is doing with other artists remotely while he is in Nerdville

I really enjoyed the first one with Dion
only had a chance to briefly listen to the next two and look forward to replaying them and checking out this latest one with Walter trout
I enjoy listening to joe ask others questions as much as hearing his answers to questions asked him smile

I've caught up with a few of these and more on my list to get to...but I think i saw where Joe was going to interview Kenny Wayne Shepherd on one of these but i can't fin a recording...did i remember correctly? maybe it didnt record right but they did it live???
anyone know...I've searched but can't locate it

It takes then approx 2 months to air the interview after announcement. For example Anna Popovic interview was done on August 12th and aired on Oct 14th. Find the day when KWS interview was done and add 2 months smile

thank you! wow I am in a time warp in my brain....didn't realize I was so far behind in these so i thought they got posted right away. Some I have tried to listen to I got distracted so want to replay...I have plenty to catch up on in the meantime but I am particularly interested in KWS.

I love watching the program. Joe does a great job, the guest are fantastic. It's great hearing everyone talking about their passion for their "job" the pure joy and passion for what they do is not work. It's been a joy to watch.

Maybe Joe will talk to Rik Emmett someday :-)

Rik is a funny guy and just as passionate about music as Joe. It would be fantastic to see them talk together.

In a different thread, I saw reo had mentioned that Joe mentioned he had COVID in one of them...
It was in 37 with Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown
IIRC he had it in December...noticed he lost taste then a few days of not feeling well.

Good interview with Tyler's band!
I have many to look forward to catching up on.
They all sort of go in their own direction even though joe talks about some of the same subjects.
You get an bit of a look into Joe's personality too in these....although I'm thinking the pandemic and different lifestyle influences a lot of it.

Live From Nerdville is one of my all time favorites that Joe does. I've watched every episode the day its posted on the dot ( although not lately, since the time been changed from 8pm to 3pm to accommodate a huge influx of new eastern european fans )
