Blue Velocity & Truth came in on mail plane today from amazon. Now I have all RF's cd's but Duarte's new cd is really good; played Truth once and been listening to Blue Velocity over and over. Duarte's new cd is as good as Texas Sugar or Tailspin Headwhack. Get it.

I'll definitely have to check this out- I got a chance to see Chris a couple of years ago- what a show! Plays with so much soul- its amazing...

I also just got Blue Velocity and Truth. Love them both. Looking forward to seeing Robben Ford at The Great British R & B festival at Colne on Saturday. By the way if any of you Chris Duarte fans get to speak to him can you ask him to pay us a visit over here, I've seen him on You Tube and his live shows must be amazing.

I got Blue Velocity last week and it is his best work ever.....it has a much more rock feeling than his past efforts.
I really like all of his stuff, and have seen him several times, but this disc just flat out rocks. The man can shred. I'm glad to see him head in such a fresh direction.

Gave the disc a quick play today. All I can say is WOW. Definatly Chris's best effort in years. For those who like screaming, knock you on your a$$ guitar leads this is the one you've been waiting for. I'll play it several times tomorrow at work and really get the jist, but first quick listen left me speechless. GOOD STUFF!

That's good to hear Jeff about Chris' new release. I have been kinda disappointed in some of his later releases. He is coming to Charlotte latter on this month too.

Never had the pleasure of seeing him live but always enjoyed his music. This disc is awesome. Not a bad song on it. GREAT EXTENDED LEADS. You should catch him if you can, I've heard his live shows are amazing. 2 + hours.

I'm finding this CD to be ga great companion to "Sloe Gin". It is his best to date for sure. If you don't get your fill of hot guitar leads from this cd you must have incurable shredomania.....Cathy Bluser..Doesn't he live in Atlanta?
