Topic: Black Keyes. Let's Rock

Well, the title pretty much gives you a hint. This is a shift change away from that last horribly Motown inspired disaster and back to some straight ahead Rock and Roll. This is not the Black Keys that did Thickfreakness...this band has now morphed from a down and dirty Blues band to a Rock pop band with a blues twist. Dan's voice actually sounds different on this album. and most of the disc has an "El Camino" kind of groove to it. Not as heavy as previous work, but definitely very catchy with lots of hooks.

Re: Black Keyes. Let's Rock

Review is spot on.  Really like Dan’s voice as well as his playing.  Glad there isn’t a bunch of “Dan in falsetto” though, because I do not like that.  The first single Lo/Hi is super fun.
