I am in the UK and wondering if the 3 extra tracks are worth me paying around £25 for? What’s the general opinion on these extra tracks? As some others have mentioned I’m sure JB had previously said ‘no more extra track editions’ etc and ‘what was recorded made it on the album’ when talking about blues of desperation. Something along those lines anyways.

That’s is a good question Ross.The fact is everyone has different tastes
But the track Black Rose is excellent rockin type of song
The other is a remake of the acoustic song
Stronger Now In Broken Places only with the whole band.
And the third track is also a mellow song Somehere Down the Road A good song .
My tastes skew towards the heavier and uptempo so it’s only one extra track that really is worth it for me. I am notnsurebInwouks pay a lot for that track.Bits that’s me.I know a lot of people probably would keep be all three enough to pay more
Thanks for the info Gary. As a completeist I am very tempted but thinking sensibly it’s a lot for a couple of tracks especially as I’ve already bought the deluxe edition. Wish they could just put the tracks on the album in the first place!

Well I just received my Redemption Deluxe CD but as a European Joe Fan
is miss those 3 Extra Songs. I don't dare aksing but can someone mail, PM me these 3 songs please

Well I decided to go ahead and order. Couldn’t resist having the all the tracks. I’m sure I would have regretted it had I not!
Still hurts a bit paying all that extra for 3 tracks though. Wonder how much say JB had in the target exclusive decision? Only going on what he said before.

Finally a call late this afternoon, they are sitting on 3 for me.

Amazon UK are selling the Target version for the mighty sum of £40 (including postage).
That's a lot for three extra tracks!

Got mine. All 3, which was all the store was allocated. 6 stores in a city of 2.5 Million got a total of 18 copies! Marketing blew this one.
1/2 way through 1st play and it exceeds expectations.

Great album i preordered,but 3 more songs would be nice.Should be a way to get them at some stage.My echo has the whole album minus the 3 tracks as well.Maybe he will play some at the BIC in october.We will see.So many songs and not enough time.

That seems crazy.Wht bother working an exclusive if you are not carrying the inventory.I know retail cds are going bad but that doesn’t make any sense.
Maybe if they sell out quick they will stock more but the biggest time is that first week.Maybe Online sales are brisk?

I think they'll restock more. I just looked at Target's 2017 Black Friday ad. They had cd's for $8 apiece and 5 of them pictured were Target exclusives editions.

Just got my Target edition......listening to the three extra songs now.....digging "Black Roses"
just got a text from my brother.. he walked in the door from his Europe trip and the CD dropped into his mail box at the same time. Timing couldn't be better.
so I have a Target version waiting for me till I can get to his place.. probably on US Thanks Giving.. I'll have to wait as I'm not spending $25cdn in a local store, when Target was only $12.00usd
yeah I hope Black Roses makes it to a future release when this exclusive deal runs out, however that works

I don't know much about marketing, could think its genius as Rocket noted, thinking a lot thru, maybe good to have the sell outs even if small numbers per store....but I do think the current $12.99 sale price is a big draw, over the 16.99 regular price. I don't know how long the initial sales go. Curious also how many of the exclusives did they print? It didn't seem long until Best Buy ran out of the DSOB exclusive
Runs out? The pressing was probably a limited run like the other rarities. It might be available for download sometime, but I don’t recall if any of those others became public.

well my 'hometown' Target already re-stocked, and promptly sold out again
i had checked that brickseek link the other day then again yesterday so i was surprised to see it go from out of stock to in stock....went to store...none on shelf...got bummed until I saw a cart with boxes of stuff to be stocked on shelves....they were in the firt box I looked in
That's pretty cool, glad to hear they're selling through and stocking up!
These bonus tracks that are exclusive to a store or a region are really annoying (I live in Australia).
Why not just do a bonus version everywhere for an additional cost and a cheaper non bonus version?
I don't begrudge Joe making as much as he can - he deserves it. But if the only way for me to get the bonus version is to pay inflated prices on eBay then forget about it. I'll listen to the album on YouTube until I decide when and how to buy it.
