Re: 10/19/2017 Warfield TheatrE, San Francisco CA

The first night 10/19, the set list was the same as it has been for quite some time. I filmed the whole show because we were front row of the loge and had a great view and sound. I've uploaded all but the encore. Here is a playlist with all those songs: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P … bi4Law43Ew

The second night 10/20, Joe changed out "Hidden Charms" for "Some Other Day, Some Other Time". A song he hadn't done since the 3 Kings Tour. The rest of the setlist was the same. We were secnd row of the loge and I had a couple in front of me that kept blocking my view so I only filmed 4 songs, but took a load of photos instead. Here is the playlist of those 4 songs: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P … ZcdNZvhiOJ

Both nights the crowd was kind of lame in my opinion. They barely wanted to stand for even the encore. Felt bad for Joe and the band because they were working their butts off for these people. I thought the show the second night was a bit more energetic. I think the guys are a bit worn out at this point because it has been a long tour, but they sure give it their all every time. The crowd needs to stop being lazy and get off their feet and show their appreciation a bit more.

Too bad the crowd was a dud. I hate hearing that. I'll be in Phoenix for the last gig Saturday night before the little break. Got screwed by PBS with 20th row seats but I'll be screaming as loud as I can!

LIVE MUSIC IS BEST

WoW! Great videos and incredible photos! As always thank you and your 'sound man' for the incredible shows. Joe really needs to contact you about some of those photos for album art, liner art etc. They are reallyy great and the way they capture the intensity of the shows shouts through. They could also buy the rights to the photos to create posters, T-shirts... Anyhow thanks again to you and your hubby for the great work and for sharing it with all of us who will probably never have the opportunity to see Joe live.

So I hope that answer helped explain my comments...

Soooooo, Natasha and family REALLY are a gift and they, more than anything, keep me coming back to check for Joe's shows. But not just Joe. They have introduced me to Mike Zito, Eric Steckel, Scotty Bratcher, Josh Smith, Henrik Freischlader, Hamilton Loomis, Kirk Fletcher, Tommy Castro, Jarius (can't remember his last name),Tab Benoit just to name a few. They are a treasure to this site and blues lovers that do a fantastic job at allowing many to see those we would never have seen, or even known about.

Glad you enjoy the videos so much. When I know people appreciate them it makes all the trouble to do them much more worthwhile smile
