"Black Coffee" - on repeat #addicted
"Come Rain or Come Shine" - Black Coffee Vinyl bonus track - outstanding Beth's vocals, Joe's guitar - mmmmm... But: too much going on around Joe and Bet here ( and this is a note about the whole album ) Not every olden sound has to be recreated, like those village wedding keys should stay back in 90th, together with red plastic hoop earings.
And (sorry I am in a bad mood ) Damn Your Eyes - really? That's how you chose to do this powerful song? Just as a matter of factly? Like she does't care anymore but it's still a habitual topic of her conversations?
In my car I start at ANDY studio and finish 26 cds later at the end of the studi/live releases.
Rinse and repeat

This post was written during my "hate the whole world" day. Love "Black Coffee" so much. But... Sticking to some of my points. When I said "sounds of the nineties" I only meant this few seconds like for example in the beginning of Addicted. But it is my personal pet peeve #sorry ( love, absolutely love this song, Joe's solo is so.... Ahrrrr.....addicting ). And to be absolutely honest - 6 times out of 10 I am skipping Give it Everything You Got. And still think that simple but bold and powerful Joe+Beth sound on Damn Your Eyes and nothing more around it would sound so much better.
Just watched again this and here i go : how i spent my last hour
When i was 14 years old I went to a school trip in a city of my dreams. And when I say city of my dreams it was a place I thoutht about, read about, dreamt about . I knew everything about it: history, music, myths...And here I finally was: cold, damp, gray April visit... On my first day I was very disappointed ( whatt the whole hype is all about?..books, music, poems) but then on a second day... wait for it... we are walking... its cold. Very windy, dark and suddenly you walk out on a bardwalk of a river and you SEE... that's what inspired all this books and poems.... this... this feel... this wind. Now I understand... Anyway... to make a story short that how I felt about some of Joe concerts. He is a captain of the ship and knows where it's heading. Some people don't believe ( throw him overboard, he doesn't know where we are going!.. ) oh, he @#$%^^&# does... And he brings the ship right to this magical island of our dreams. Thank you Joe. You are an Angel
and that what I watched tonight https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTw0-rx_nfI ( excellent Rick Melick on keys, but I think its Joe's gift to bring it out of people)
