Bob Harris

In the early days of Joe's career we used to say "have you told anyone about Joe today". In February 2006 I was going round guitar and record stores in Glasgow posting flyers for Joe's first gig at The Ferry , but at the same time I told Bob Harris about Joe and he played him for the first time on his BBC Saturday night/ Sunday morning show. He played 'Current Situation' and has supported and promoted Joe since that date.

It saddens me that today's show was Bob's last - although he will still have his country music show. Bob has played such an important part in introducing young and upcoming musicians to a wider audience, we owe him a great deal.

Thank you Bob - you played an important part in helping Joe along the way, you made a difference.
