That moment when you realize the words "a generation" truly doesn't mean "everyone" ... especially when used in the popular phrase "the music of a generation."
I always thought some of the new music I grew up with was so important and influential that every one around my age ... and younger ... just has to know something about it to some extent! ...
I have been tech volunteering at a theatre near me for a couple of months ... and as I was discussing a show there this weekend ... a Led Zeppelin tribute band ... with the theatre's sound tech ... a nice 26 year-old lad ... his last line of our conversation was "Why do they call themselves Kashmir?"
