Topic: NPD: THAT Marshall tone in a pedal....through a Fender amp

Ever feel like there's a certain tone you're missing from your rig? I did. Don't get me wrong, I love the tone I get from my Fender amp - amazing cleans and great bluesy tones - but lately I've been finding myself missing that Marshall rock tone, especially with my Les Paul.

Well, today I took delivery of a Catalinbread Dirty Little Secret and have just put my guitar down after 2 hours of playing and wow, just wow. Never thought I'd be able to get that Marshall roar at bedroom levels, especially through a Fender amp, but this pedal gets close. Haven't had chance to play it for more than a couple of minutes at anything above bedroom level, will be gigging with it next Thursday so will give better feedback then, but I have been able to dial in a pretty convincing Bonamassa Marshall tone at bedroom levels. Especially stacked with my Way Huge Pork Loin.

Just thought I'd share as we're often getting people asking how they can get that tone on a budget.

Now feel like all my drive tones are catered for - which is the first time I've been able to say that!!
