THUMBS UP to Joe

I was catching up on reading about all things Joe and read about Joe donating a guitar to The Midnight Missions in order to raise money for the homeless in LA.

I returned from a California vacation on August 15th, I'd been there before, but this was the first time in LA.  I could NOT believe the HUGE amount of homeless people in LA...everywhere...sleeping on the sidewalks...in parks...in tent cities.  Being an East coast dweller all of my life in the suburbs of Philly, it was really disturbing.  I guess a lot has to do with geography as in the great California weather makes it easier to live outside than the chilling winter temperatures here. My son who lives in Baltimore observed that the LA homeless seemed so much more destitute than the Baltimore or Philadelphia homeless, which may have to do with living on the streets year round.

It struck me as sooooo ironic how close all of this was to Hollywood where some folks are just not walking the walk...some of those folks are just such big hypocrites...Just saying...And just IMO.

Regardless, THUMBS UP to Joe!! Awesome effort on your part.
