Topic: The Darklord

Could anyone tell me if the original Ernie ball Dark Lord was a limited production, and how many were produced?  I purchased one of them right when they became available, but then I saw they made another production run....only I believe the more recent run looked to have a baked maple fretboard.  Joe showed me his newest version backstage, and it had a different fretboard inlay.....and It didn't resemble the newer production run.
For the initial run that was made to Joe's specs......is there a database of owners like the Bonamassa signature guitars and pickups?
