ABB-Warren Haynes

Finally got some time to sit and listen to the 6 cd's of the ABB last shows at the Beacon Theater.  What a great band.  How did Greg ever get Warren and Derek to join?  I knew Greg a little in the mid-'80's and the thought he could pull it back together, never crossed my mind.  It was not a good time for him.  I'm certainly glad he did.  While you can never replace the originality of Duane and Dickie, talent wise Warren and Derek are right there.  Personally, I have always loved Warren, whether it was with Gov't Mule or his own band, but for my taste, his guitar work was best suited for ABB.  I will always treasure the times I got to see them at the Wanee Festival. These last recording from the Beacon, are a fitting tribute to one of the greatest American bands of all times.
