Fleetwood Mac's Oh Well
WOW...there are 38 pages here and I don't want to go through all these pages, so I apologize if this may have been suggested before.
I was going to have lunch with the hubby today, listening to the radio, and Rush's Working Man came on. Didn't think much of it until the guitar solo and I thought Joe could really do a excellent job on that. We all know he is the best working man out there in the music business. Might have to change the key for the singing part though.
It has been mentioned before but Robin Trowers Bridge of Sighs would be a great cover by Joe.
If you dont Know it give it a listen it's well worth it.
Day of the Eagle would be a great Robin Trower cover, too, it's a pretty rockin' tune. My favorite on that album.
Numbers that Joe would hit out of the park.
'Driving sideways'......Freddy KIng.....'Snowy wood'....Mayall/Taylor......'the stumble'....by King;Thompson'.....'The Super Natural'......peter green..........'Cross cut saw'..... Albert king
'Little red roster'.....by dixon............'red house'....Jimi
More ...but I can't think of them now
Many have covered “Rockin’ in the Free World,” not always doing it justice. I think Joe would!

Ok, so the hubs says this song is too political and doesn't think Joe would do it. Politics aside, I still think he would ROCK IT!
I'd love to see Joe or BCC do a cover of:
Robin Trower: Bridge of Sighs, Shame the Devil, I can't wait much longer, It's Only money, Day of The Eagle
Black Sabbath: Iron Man (Glenn can easily sing like Ozzy)
BBC performing Tea For One
Joe Bonamassa performing Robin Trower's Long Misty Days

I have resisted the temptation to post the obvious HOPING someone would bring this up in the proper time and place!
Perfect in my imaginative, image it is opinion...if only...
Sip ON & Keep the Tea Time Observant Faith,
Rocket
If the House Is Rockin would be fantastic to hear, and La Grange and Stranglehold are both excellent ideas too
Like It's Me, I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but I'd like to hear Joe do a version of "Bluest Blues" that Alvin Lee does on the album "Pure Blues". An absolute favorite of mine. I think the vocals and guitar work lends itself perfectly to Joe's style. From the same album, "The Stomp" would also be a good one. Or how about "If I Could Change The World". Ah hell, pick anything by Alvin Lee. It's all good!
If i was given the chance and could pick 3 in a Kevin Shirley style as in looking for gems that have slipped "under the radar" and are not universally known and Joe could maybe take and put his own gloss over and re-work a song into a re born classic
errrrrr i pit myself on the spot there ..... i'm thinking in the Sloe Gin huge stature
(all lost in the artists own back catologue) and all 1970's tracks too
1. Suburban Love by Japan (an atmospheric groove with keys & bass a soul stealing finale) that's the up tempo Sloe Gin esque one
2. Black Diamond Bay by Bob Dylan (acoustic and just a brilliant worded story by the master lyricist, Joe could tell this story
And a homage to one of America's finest musicians.... that's the acoustic one
3. Love to see Joe take on one of AC/DC's Bluesier songs, my vote goes for "Overdose" with that infectious hook, and real dirty boogie feel, that would be my #1 dream to hear Joe tear this one up (apart from "Whole Lotta Rosie" my fave Angus Riff)
that's the Rock one set in stone
just a bit of typing input and fun, you know what now i dont care what joe brings now, he always always delivers the bestest tuffest bad a$$ Rock/Blues everytime ..... i need not worry, i pays my roadtrip i get my a$$ kicked, thats how i like it.
................ Michael
"Hymn 43" Jethro Tull
...Dear Numero Uno!...please!...when you have the time!...OMG!...i'm wetting myself at just the thought of it!...so sorry if you happen to be eating breakfast when reading this!?

I'd love to hear/see Joe playing "When A Blind Man Cries" by Deep Purple or what about "Red House" by Jimi ???
'Live Now, Pay Later'. By Foghat.
More relevant today than in 1981.
What could Joe do with a sub-officiate?
How about Robert Plant's Big Log. Joe could do that and do it justice. Already a beautiful melody but I would love to hear his take on it.
I have always liked this song and Joe is the only person I feel that could do it justice and improve this great song with some of his true blues guitar. This is Joe's life, Always on the Road.
